Ready-to-use safe and reliable product based on natural plant raw materials. Odorless, free from organic solvents and toxic substances. Well absorbed into the pores of dense rust layers ranging from 50 to 300 µm, transforming them into a durable protective layer of complex ferrous compounds. Levels the affected surface and protects it from further corrosion, improves adhesion and the quality of protective paint coatings.
Recommended uses:

It is intended for preparation of ferrous metal surfaces, in particular not easily accessible, including reinforcement of ferro-concrete, building steel constructions, bridges, mine bar- ring; land and sea vehicles, industrial equipment, pipelines and tanks (incl. those with drinking water) before applying of anticorrosive protecting coatings.

 Surface preparation:

Clean the surface from old exfoliating coatings, traces of oil, dust and other contaminants. If neces- sary, use paint strippers according to the application instructions. Solvent Kompozit® is recom- mended for degreasing. Remove layers of brittle and exfoliated rust and scale using a scraper, metal brush, special nozzles, abrasive blast cleaning, or another convenient method.

Mix the product thoroughly before application. Apply to the metal surface as a continuous even layer without omissions and skips using the sprayer. Application is possible at a temperature from +5 to +35 °C, but the most recommended temperature is from +15 to +20 °C, at which the rust conversion process lasts up to 2 hours, indicated by the change in the surface color to dark blue. If the rust layer is more than 150 micrometers thick, after the process is completed, some unconverted areas may still remain, so it is recommended to repeat the treatment. Do not allow the formation of excess converter on the horizontal surfaces, if necessary, remove them with a damp sponge or cloth. Apply on vertical surfaces from bottom to top. After the converter has dried, do not wash it off with water, if there are dusty conversion products present on the surface, remove them with a brush or cloth. It is desirable to prime and paint immediately after the converter will dry up (no later than 1 – 2 days); before applying the protective paint coating, the treated surface should be protected from atmos- pheric precipitation and moisture.
